About Me
The family court process can seem intimidating. Whether you are facing divorce, a dispute over child custody and support orders, or another family law matter, the outcome of your case could affect you for years to come.
Since 1991, I have helped hundreds of clients in Santa Clara and San Benito counties navigate legal issues involving their families. I am familiar with the courts and judges in San Jose, Sunnyvale, Morgan Hill, and Hollister, which allows me to provide you with experienced guidance throughout the legal process.
I am certified in family law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. To be a certified family law specialist, a lawyer must demonstrate considerable experience in handling family law matters. Only a small percentage of California lawyers are certified in family law.
In addition to my family law certification, I hold degrees in counseling, psychology, and taxation. I have served as chair of the Santa Clara County Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee and as the board president of the Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley.

I pride myself on excellent customer service. One of the biggest complaints people have about attorneys is not being able to reach them. At my office, you will receive a return phone call within 24 hours. I will also set up telephone or in-office conferences to ensure the best service. In the event of a true emergency, I have a 24/7 answering service that can reach me after hours.
